Happy Valentine's

I don't usually celebrate Valentine's Day. Not because it's mostly a commercial holiday, or that I'm against it. Mostly because there's never enough money to actually celebrate.

This year we are sort of able to. :3 And so my love and I are going out to eat together, semi-dressed up [we dont have dress-up clothes], and we're going to watch Psych season 5, eat candy, and play our MMORPG, Mabinogi. xD

My valentine's gift was Stargate Atlantis Season 1 and 2. His was Batman the Animated Series. Just goes to show how nerds celebrate Valentine's day xD

Happy [Late] Birthday to Me.

My birthday this year had to be one if THE BEST birthdays I've ever had.

I found out that one of my friends/guild mates from a game I play shares my birthday, not only the day, but the year as well. We're both 23 this year. :]

I got some amazing gifts this year. Your Shape: Fitness Evolved for the xbox kinect which I had been wanting for ages. Seasons 2-4 of Psych. A new DS + Pokemon Diamond, along with a Pre-order of Pokemon White.

Also, this year is awesome. Why? Because even though I was born in 1988, I'm a Rabbit. Year of the Rabbit = win. Me being a Rabbit instead of a Dragon is because the Chinese New Year of that year didn't happen until after February 3rd. Not to mention that, on top of it being The Year of the Rabbit, the Chinese New Year fell ON my birthday. ^_^

Not to mention all the birthday wishes I got from friends and family, even though I didn't get to celebrate it with them since I'm so far away.

So overall, my birthday was super special awesome and I'm thankful that I got to spend such a great day with my love, as well.

bleargh

So there hasn't been much to talk about lately, with nothing really going on...

My birthday is this week. I'll be 23 this year. I got some awesome gifts already. From my fiance I got Seasons 2, 3, and 4 of Psych. <3 And from my awesome step-mom, her husband, and my two little brothers I got Your Shape: Fitness Evolved for the Kinect on Xbox. :] I love it all. My love and I are already on season 3 of Psych, and my legs are in pain from using YP: FE xD I think I overdid it when I first got it, having not exercised in....forever >3> I did an hour of cardio, which most of it was leg to elbow or squats, so my legs are mad at me for it. :x Overall so far my birthday, even though it's not really here yet, has been super awesome. :3

Also, since Pokemon Black and Pokemon White are coming out I have been searching for my DS and and the things that go with it. My charger is missing sadly, so my fiance went on Ebay and bought me a new one, which should be here by my birthday or the day after. Then I can go to GameStop and get a "Shiney" [whatever that is] Suicune. :3 I found all my games for the DS too, so I'm going to be starting them over. ^_^

My Car

Last Saturday I got into my first car accident. Sort of. It was snowing the night before and the roads were covered. Around 10:30am I left with my fiance to drive him to work. The roads were semi-cleared but you'd have to stay in the tracks of other cars to avoid the snow. Driving down a windy back-road during this time of year is not a good idea. Some jerkwad driving a truck with a snow-plow attached was driving the opposite direction, over the double yellow lines. I turned the wheel just a little to the right to avoid him hitting me, when the car spun a little out of control, and we slowly smashed into the guard rail in the opposite lane. No, he didn't stop to see if we were okay, he left. The front and back bumper [covers?] were hanging off from the passenger side, and the headlight on the same side was smashed, making my front blinkers inoperable. Thankfully both he and I were okay and the only damage suffered was to the car. Again, thankfully the car was still drivable and I was able to get him to work. His dad came down and we looked for a body shop to fix the damage. It's been in the shop since then, still is. They couldn't find any replaceable parts, so they're supposedly just fixing it. I miss my car, and I feel bad that his dad, on his days off, has to take my love to work. I'm hoping that the car will be fixed by tomorrow so I can go with someone to town and pick it up. They said yesterday that they'd be doing just the fixing so it shouldn't take too long right? :x

Oh noes, I'm no longer [[Zodiac Sign Here]]

So yesterday all over the net, people have gone into panic over their Zodiac signs suddenly changing. Being an Aquarius-turned-Capricorn I looked up some information and found that this Sign Change only occurs, apparently, in Sidereal Astrology. Quoted from The Stir, a Cafe Mom blog, "*Western astrologers don't do their work based on stars, but rather on "the patterns of planets and the moon as they pass through 12 zones defined by the relationship between the Earth and sun." He said while the zones have the same names as constellations, they're not related to them. Therefore, no one's sign needs to change." So it turns out that if you are following Western Astrology you don't need to panic. Now, *Wikipedia says almost the same thing. That Western Astrology follow Tropical Astrology, and then it mentions that Hindu Astrology follows Sidereal. So I guess the majority of us don't have to worry about our entire lives changing because of our signs. We're all still the same. :] Unless you follow Sidereal Astrology. :x
